Robert Harold Stenson 1959-1984

Robert Harold Stenson was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 6, 1959, and departed this life in Springfield, Missouri June 1, 1984 after a short illness. He had attained the age of 24 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

Robert came to the Richland area at a very young age and attended school here. He was employed at Brackett Fertilizer plant as long as his health would permit.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and was saved a few months ago.

Those lefty to mourn his passing are his father, Jerry Stenson of Springfield, his mother Lucy Grier of Springfield; his wife Doris of Richland; one son Robert Jerome of the home, one brother Leroy of Germany; three sisters, Jeri Henderson, Amy and Elizabeth Stenson all of Springfield, Missouri; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Couture, state of Vermont; step grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Pattijohn of Bolivar, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a kind and loving person who enjoyed being around people and likewise people enjoyed being around Robert.

Services for Robert Stenson were held at Colonial Funeral Chapel 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 1984. Officiating at the services was Pryor Ray Prewett. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, soloist, Marcia Shadel, organist. Burial was in the Hazelgreen Cemetery. Escorts were: Jimmy Brackett, Dennis Shelton, Danny Zeigenbein, Ronnie McMahon, Mike Henson, and Bill Crossland. Honorary Escorts were: Eric Holdman, Jim Bethurem, James Brackett and Bob Bethurem. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel of Richland, Missouri.
