John Thompson, therefore be it, resolved, that we the members of Gasconade lodge No. 439 of the Independent Order Odd Fellows in regular session assembled, do hereby extend to the father and three remaining children, our deep regret and profound sympathy in this another great trial of sad bereavement, following so closely the inevitable taking away of the dearly beloved wife and mother. Also that a copy of the original draft be placed in the possession of the grief stricken family.
