Hilda Faye (Wieners) Vogt 1920-2008

Hilda Faye Vogt, daughter of Joseph (Joe) and Annie Wieners, was born on April 29, 1920 in Hooker, Missouri. She departed this life at 7:40 A.M. Thursday, June 12, 2008 in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center of Rolla, Missouri at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 14 days.

As a young girl, Hilda attended Bloodland School on Fort Leonard Wood and later graduated from Waynesville High School in Waynesville.

At an early age, Hilda made a profession of faith and attended the Gospel Ridge Baptist Church of St. Robert. In her later years, she attended the Pentecostal Church in Waynesville, Missouri with her mother.

On June 26, 1941, Hilda was united in marriage to Cleve Vogt and to this union three children were born: Sharon, Judy and Gary.

Hilda was employed for many years with the Waynesville School System as a cook and she retired from the school system. In her spare time, she loved to quilt and work crossword puzzles and watch television.

Hilda leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Sharon Senovich of Waynesville, MO; Judy Keys and her husband Donald of Richland, MO and Gary Vogt of Monett, MO; two sisters: Dorothy Coogan and Clara Williams, both of Waynesville, MO; four brothers: Howard Wieners and his wife Ruth and Lester Wieners and his wife Delores, all of Kansas City, MO, Darold Wieners and his wife Zella of Waynesville, MO and Clarence Wieners and his wife Judy of Laquey, MO; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Willie and Ersie Wieners.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Christopher Hendrix officiating. Pianist Neil Lewis accompanied himself and Zella Wieners as they sang "Come Spring" and "Remind Me Dear Lord". Serving as escorts were John Senovich, Sam Senovich, Corey Keys, Dean Keys and Donnie Keys.

Burial followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
