Lester A. "Brownie" Quesenberry, son of the late Clarence and Mindy
(Elliott) Quesenberry was born October 6, 1920 in Hanna, Missouri.
Brownie,
as he was known to his family and friends, accepted the Lord Jesus
Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized on July 13, 1975 at the
Buckhorn Baptist Church.
On January 17, 1946, Brownie was united
in marriage to Blanche Alice Rose in Houston, Missouri. They shared over
48 years of marriage together and were blessed with one daughter,
Carolyn Sue Wilson.
As a young boy, Brownie grew up during the
depression era. His first job was at age 14 for Clarence Hensley
transporting the furs and hides that were bought and sold. He traveled
throughout the state of Missouri. Brownie was later offered a job on
Fort Leonard Wood as a bulldozer operator at the construction site of
the airport. He accepted and later moved on to several other jobs,
building dams and other projects in Branson, Missouri.
Brownie
started driving a truck for Campbell Express, where he logged over a
million accident free miles. Brownie received many awards each year for
his exemplary work ethic and safety records. You would always find him
nicely dressed and clean shaven. He served Cambpell "66" for over 33
years.
Brownie enjoyed his weekends where he would come home and
cattle farm with his wife Blanche. He always kept his equipment in top
shape and he always kept a straight tight fence.
Brownie went
home to be his Lord at 11:40 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2007 in his home
