Nancy Jane (Robertson) Brake 1819-1902

Mrs. Robert Brake, an old and highly respected citizen living near Bells Creek, five miles southeast of Crocker died Sunday morning after a long siege of suffering. Mrs. Brake was a kind Christian lady and had been in poor health for many years. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss.

Brake Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., 5 miles southwest of Crocker, Missouri. From DD Highway go right on Buttercup Road (formerly County Road DD-538). Go right on the first major gravel road (this road may be named Bend Road). Brake Cemetery is located on the left (north) side of this road. This land is private property, a farm owned by Evelyn Routh in 1984. This is a small graveyard, only 4 marked graves, the earliest dating to 1883, and belonging to Mary C. Clark.
