Ester E. Graves was born February 12, 1906, to Edward and Ora Evelyn McIntyre Stevens, in Utica, Iowa, and passed away at the Breech Medical Center in Lebanon, Missouri on May 26, 1984. At the time of her passing she had attained the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 14 days.
She is survived by six sons: Tom of Austin, Texas, Ernest of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Freeman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Don, Bob, and Jerry, all of Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters, Iona Timm of Stoutland, and Linda Day of St. Robert; one brother, Richard Steves of Arkansas; two sisters, Bertha Haskins of Sioux City, Iowa, and Bessie Coleman of Yakama, Washington; 38 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Sunday, May 27, 1984 at the Campground Cemetery, at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Dale Hufft officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Chapel of Richland, Missouri.
