Thelma Warnol 1918-2012

Thelma Warnol, 93 of Dixon, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence near Dixon.

Born November 30, 1918, near Newburg a daughter of Andrew and Relora (Brinkley) Wagoner.

Married December 21, 1935, at Waynesville to William Theron Warnol who preceded her in death on March 8, 2001.

She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, Jerome.

Survivors: 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Donald and Tina Warnol and Carl and Cindy Warnol, all of Dixon; one son-in-law, George “Bud” Sommer, Dixon.

4 daughters: Barbara Warnol, Dixon; Kathryn Warnol, Rolla; Carolyn Evans, Dixon and Relora Wills, Dixon
15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.

Interment in the Warnol Family Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2012 and 12 – 1 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, all in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon

Harrison Mack Wagoner 1873-1903

This entry is from the J.J. Watts collection. John J. Watts hailed from Warren, Maine and moved to the northern Ozarks of Missouri sometime after the Civil War. He was a circuit-riding Baptist Minister and his territory covered Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas Counties and parts of Maries and Dent Counties. He established a cemetery, Watt’s Lawn, which is located 1 mile West of J Highway, near the Pulaski County-Phelps County line. This collection covers 1878-1912.

Harrison Mack Wagoner died at Moab, in Pulaski Co., MO, April 12th 1903 at 11 p.m., aged 29 ys, 10 ms, & 5 ds. Mack was born on Mill Creek in Phelps Co., MO, May 7th 1873 and was a son of Louis & Sarah Wagoner and of a family of 16 children.
By 3d wife, Amanda Jane, Harrison Mack & Thomas J. July 5th 1903 at the Pleasant Hill Church a funeral discourse was preached by J.J. Watts at 11 a.m. from Rev. 21X25. Hymns page 147 Watts collection.
