Seaton Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., north of Dixon on Highway 133, to Crest Road, on Carney Road.

Seaton Cemetery is a large church cemetery. Local legend claims that Martha Helms Seaton was the first person buried here, in 1855, and that she was carried to her burial in a two wheel cart. There are no dates on her tombstone that was donated by her friends. However, there is a dated stone for Izabell Ward that lists her date of death as June 1854. James Monroe Duncan, who died circa 1900, rested in Hancock Cemetery for 32 years, before being reburied in Seaton Cemetery next to his wife, Mary Francis Duncan, shortly after her death September 1932.

Schlicht Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., near Crocker, Missouri, on Resort Road, near the Gasconade River.

Sclicht Cemetery is on land that Joseph Strain settled in 1840. In 1844 he completed work on Gasconade Mill. In 1862 Joseph Strain sold the mill to John Hensley, who in turn sold the property to John Schlicht in 1876. The area has bore his name for over 130 years. Schlicht Cemetery is small, only having six marked graves. In addition to members of the Schlict family, members of the original settler, Strain, are buried here as well. The oldest dated stone is that of Elen Strain who died March of 1861. There are two graves tombstones that bear neither the Strain nor Schlicht. One is not dated, simply bears the name Thomas J. Bishop, who was supposedly about 3 years. The other marks the final resting place of Sterling P. Roam, son of Henry and Rhonda, who was born April 1863 and died August 1863. On the Schlicht Mill website, it is said that a “visiting Monsignor who passed away suddenly while visiting the house in the late 1800’s” is also buried in Schlicht Cemetery.

Tanner Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., on Highway 133 at the junction of Highway BB.

Tombstone Inscriptions of Pulaski County refers to Tanner Cemetery as Rowland and McGown Cemetery. This is probably due to the fact that only two tombstones remain and they belong to Sarah Rowland, wife of W.G., who died 31 March, 1886, and Elsa Victoria McGowan who passed away 4 February 1920. According to Mrs. McGowan’s death certificate she is buried in Tanner Cemetery. She was a daughter of Joe Tanner and Alice Bonegan, and most likely the wife of Ulysis McGowan and died after giving birth. Her death certificate was not available to the cemetery researchers in 1984-1985 when the tombstone books were first published. Tombstone Inscriptions of Pulaski County notes that there are 3 or 4 unmarked graves here. It is possible that they are also members of the Tanner family.

UPDATE: Pulaski County Historical Society & Museum's Cemetery Committee visited Tanner Cemetery 3 April, 2011. The area fenced off has room to contain 30-35 burials.

Rockwell Cemetery, also known as Logan Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., within the boundaries of Fort Leonard Wood military installation, near Technology Park.

Rockwell Cemetery has approximately 45 marked graves and 96 graves either unmarked or marked with a field stone. It is one of the three cemeteries located on Ft. Wood that is surrounded by a stone wall constructed by German Prisoners of War during World War II. In addition to members of the Rockwell and Logan families, members of the Atterberry, Bales, Davis, Fields, Helm, Kinnaird, Koch, Morrow, Ousley, Reagan, Shultz, Steward, Tucker, Vaughan, Walterberry, and York families are interred here. Although most of the stones are from the first third of the twentieth century, the oldest dated stone belongs to Elizabeth Logan, wife of John Logan, who passed away 15 March, 1868. There has been at least two burials in Rockwell Cemetery since the construction of Fort Leonard Wood.

The Guidon states the following about Rockwell Cemetery in an article published in 2008:

“The Rockwell Cemetery lies near the Technology Park with 43 marked graves. It is home to a World War II veteran and a private with 130th Machine Gun Battalion, 55th Division. It also contains the person born the earliest of all Fort Leonard Wood’s cemeteries — 1767.

Some of the gravestones hint at difficult lives. Three siblings all died in the same year: 1923. One mother lost two children and followed them to the grave six years later at the age of 35.”
