Elfriede Garner, 65 of St. Robert, passed away Wednesday evening, July 15, 2009 in St. Robert, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18 at the Crocker Kingdom Hall. A celebration of her life and a meal will follow from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Waynesville/St. Robert Senior Citizens Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Elfie is survived by three children: Manuela Garner of Seattle, Washington, James Garner of Richland and Sabrina Bastean of Springfield; one brother: Hans Schroder of Murnau, Germany; six grandchildren: Francis Bastean, Jessica Hill, Jennifer Bastean, Lucas Garner Bower, Benjamin Blank and Jacob Blank; one great grandson: Joseph Bastean; a very special friend and caregiver: Annie Carroll of St. Robert, as well as many, many dear friends. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Elfriede Garner.
