Floyd J. Neeley, 86, of Dixon died Monday, Nov. 1, 1993 at Phelps County
Regional Medical Center in Rolla. He was born March 1, 1907 in Rocky
Comfort to Samuel Isaac and Belle Meeks Neeley. On Sept. 12, 1942, he
was married in Kansas City, Kan., to Eunice Jones who died Dec. 18,
1991.
Mr. Neeley owned and operated the 15th Street Barber Shop
in Kansas City for many years, retiring when he was 82. He had been a
resident of the Dixon Oaks Care Center for the past two years.
Surviving
him are a son, Dr. Howard Neeley of Eldon; two step-sons, Donald Jones
of Elk Creek and Leroy Jones of Waynesville; a sister, Grace Jordan of
Osawatomi, Kan.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral
services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral
Home in Iberia with the Rev. John Bouldrey officiating. Burial will be
in Fox Crossing Cemetery near Dixon. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8
p.m. Thursday.
