Nadine Rose (Hurt) Oeth, age 79, of Rolla, MO, passed away on January 5, 2010.
She was born on March 20, 1930, to Lee Edward Hurt and Anna (Poncha) Hurt in Midway, KS.
She
married Joe Elmo Eyman and they had two children; Joe Eugene Eyman and
Linda Lee Eyman. They later divorced and she married Raymond Gene Oeth
on September 12, 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Hazel Viola Hurt and her son, Joe Eugene Eyman.
Mrs.
Oeth was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints, Rolla, MO; the Relief Society; she had been a Den Mother;
was a mother to numerous foster children and received the Great American
Military Family of the Year Award in 1984.
Survivors include her
husband of the home, daughter Linda Lee and husband, Arthur Balch, Lake
of the Ozarks, MO; a stepson, Oliver Oeth, Germany; two brothers, James
Hurt and wife, Barbara, Pittsburg; Rick Hurt and wife Lillian, Ft.
Scott; two sisters, Wanda Wilson and husband, Ken Wilson, South
Carolina, and Mary Windsor and husband, Murvel, Pittsburg; four
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held on January 9, 2010 in Rolla, Mo.
