Rosa Mae Layman 1928-2012

Rosa Mae Layman, 83, of Waynesville, MO, passed away at 12:22 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012 in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery – Fort Leonard Wood.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the funeral home.

Mrs. Layman is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Layman, Sr. of the home; one son: Richard L. Layman of Honolulu, HI; two daughters: Donna M. Abril of Honolulu, HI and Belinda R. Layman O’Neill of Woodstock, GA; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one on the way; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Hospice of Lebanon and may be left at the funeral home.

Married February 27, 1956 at Kingsland, Georgia to Betty J. Richardson

A retired United States Navy veteran and member of the VFW, Post 4956, Crocker

Funeral service: 10 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2009, in the Long Funeral Home, Crocker. Interment in the Antioch Cemetery, Crocker.

Visitation: 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2009, in the Long Funeral Home, Crocker.
