He lived and worked in the Richland area for many years and about 20 years ago moved to Rolla. He later made his home with his daughter and son-in-law in Rolla.
In June, 1930 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Harper.
Dean accepted Christ as his personal saviour at the Christian Church in Arlington, Texas, as a very young man. He served his country during World War I in the United States Army and was wounded in the Argonne Forest battle. He was a member of Lebanon VFW.
Those preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Elizabeth, 1 brother, William and 1 sister, Anna.
Surviving him are his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Hugh Harrison of Rolla, Missouri, other relatives and friends.
