ROY CLIFTON WILSON DIES, EX-MAYOR OF WAYNESVILLE

Roy Clifton Wilson, former Mayor of Waynesville and former presiding judge of the Pulaski county court, died of complications yesterday at Barnes Hospital. He was 55 years old.

Mr. Wilson, a former president of the Waynesville school board, served as presiding judge for two terms and mayor for two terms. He was chairman of the board of the Methodist church, president and chairman of the United States Organization board and secretary and past master of a Waynesville Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Josie Wilson; a son, Leo Wilson, and his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, at Waynesville Methodist Church, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery there.
