Mamie was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesville, Missouri.
Mamie loved her family very much. She was always there when her children needed her. Mamie loved flowers, and all kinds of plants, indoor and outdoor. Of particular interest were her many lovely African violets. Mamie also loved to sew. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones and many friends.
Mamie is survived by five daughters: Bonnie Miles, Hillview, Illinois; Jackie Murray, Wapakoneta, Ohio; Carolyn Brotherton, Joann Schindler, and Vickie Peacock, all of Waynesville, Missouri; four brothers: Bob Huff, Success, Missouri; Tom Huff, Houston, Missouri; Joe Huff, State of Washington; and Bert Huff, State of Texas; two sisters: Eva Raines, Waynesville, Missouri; and Marie Maness, State of Illinois; 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, one sister, and four brothers.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Othal L. Hodson officiating.
Music was provided by organist Dorothy Moore, and soloist, Charles Folkert.
