Elizabeth accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 13, was baptized and united with the Beulah Baptist Church. In 1949 she moved her membership to the Boulevard Baptist Church in Springfield and was an active member of the Lydia Sunday School Class and the Lottie Moon Group of Baptist Women.
Elizabeth was married to Joseph W. Robinson who preceded her in death February 10, 1938. In 1942 she became a resident of Springfield, Missouri where she worked as a secretary until her retirement.
Survivors include three step-daughters, Lucille Vaught, Richland; Yveta Pearson, Stewart, Mississippi; and Helen Salsman, Richland; a step-son, Joe C. Robinson, Cedar Hill, Missouri; two first cousins, Alta Wolfe and Vivian Johnson, St. James; several second cousins including Geneva Smith, Springfield; Wayne Setsor, Richland and Bonnie Setsor Morrow, Foristell, Missouri; 25 step-grandchildren; 34 step-great grandchildren, one step-great grandson preceded her in death; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Boulevard Baptist Church, Springfield with Rev. Richard Eakins officiating.
Music was provided by Martha Garrison, organist. Roy Salsman, step-son-in-law, sang “Because He Lives” and Wayne Garrison, Music Director, Boulevard, sang “Blessed Assurance” and “Victory In Jesus”.
Escorts were: Everett Reeder, Warren Scranton, Gus Robards, Gerald Simmons, Gene Gorden, and Paul Baker, fellow church members.
