Florence Lovada (Carroll) Kelley 1899-1996

Florence Lovada Kelley, 97, Dixon, died Monday at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Rolla. She was born April 19, 1899, in Miller County, a daughter of William and Bashaby Elkins Carroll. She was married July 1, 1915, in Big Piney, to Silas Kelley, who died Feb. 21, 1984. A homemaker, she was a member of Ozark Baptist Church, Houston.

Survivors include: one son, Floyd Kelley, Visalia, Calif.; two daughters, Josephine Rose, Dixon, and Magdalene Meentemeyer, St. Louis; one sister, Marie Long, Waynesville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 am. Wednesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Bro. Harold Withers will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Big Piney.
