Freddie Pendergrass, Sr., son of Grady and Pauline M. (Carruth) Pendergrass, was born August 29, 1951 in Napa, California.
He departed this life the evening of July 22, 2002 at the Life Care Center in Waynesville, Missouri, at the age of 50 years, 10 months and 23 days.
Freddie worked with his father in his construction business for several years. He took great pride in ther completed projects. Freddie enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He always looked forward to bringing home the big catch. Freddie was a NASCAR fan, and watched the races faithfully every week.
Freddie will be greatly missed by his father: Grady Pendergrass of Crocker and one son: Freddie Pendergrass, Jr. of Napa, California. He also leaves four sisters: Diane Moitoza of Dixon, Paula Rider of Richland, Katy Husband of Clearlake, California and Janice Thoidose of Lafayette, California and two brothers: Grady Pendergrass of Clearlake, California and Ronnie Carruth of Jamestown, California. Also surviving are two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 26 at Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
