Larry Dean Barnhart, of Dixon, was born on December 29, 1951,
at Dixon, a son of Kelles Earl and Velva Lucille (Rigsby) Barnhart, and departed
this life at 8:47 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at his residence near
Dixon. Larry had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age o
59 years, 10 months and 17 days.
Larry had worked as for a tank company out of Memphis, Tennessee, painting water towers and later for Quaker Window Products, Freeburg. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the great outdoors.
Those left to mourn the passing of Larry include: his mother, Velva Jones, Dixon; one sister, Paula Hughes, Dixon; aunts, uncles, nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 with a memorial service to be held at 7 p.m., in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.
Memorials are suggested in memory of Larry Dean Barnhart.
