Lillian Ernestine Walters, 90, of Dixon, died at
11:15 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence in Dixon. Born
May 11, 1922, in Yellville, Arkansas, Daughter of Richmond Patterson
and Zella Matlock Patterson.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon, she also loved quilting, cooking, all kinds of crafts, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she also loved to travel with family and friends she had traveled to all 50 states.
Survivors: 5 Daughters, Joyce E. Carlson & John, Hudson, Florida Sharon & Gorton Thomas, Lecanto, Florida Nancy E. & Bill Doolin, Dixon, Mo. Shirley Ann South, Everton, Mo. Margaret Pierce, Pittsburg, Kansas 2 Brothers, Jim & Patricia Patterson, Rogers, Arkansas Ed Patterson, Yellville, Arkansas 1 Sister, Shirley Faye Batton, Granby, Mo.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Long- Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon Private Interment will be in the Springfield National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 and from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012, all in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.
Memorials are suggested to the Phelps County Hospice.
