Albert Lee Nickels 1912-1986

Albert Lee Nickels, son of Ernest and Eliza Johnson Nickels, was born in Pulaski County om March 25, 1912, and departed this life January 18, 1986 at his home in Waynesville, Missouri at the age of seventy-three years.

On July 23, 1936 he was united in marriage with Edna Coogan, and to this union was born five sons, all surviving.

Lee has been a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church at Big Piney, Missouri for many years.  He drove and managed the Williams Bus Lines for a total of twenty five years, and has made Pulaski County his home all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Edna of the home; five sons, Jack of Waynesville, Donald of Warrensburg, Missouri, Ronald of Dugway, Utah, Michael of Nebo, Missouri, and Marvin of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; two brothers, Wilbur Nickels of Richland, Dr. Harvey Nickels of Waynesville; and one sister, Thelma Fisher of Richland; ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, three brothers, Charles, James, and Roy, one sister, Irene Berger and an infant sister.
