At the age of 3 years, she and her family moved to Taloga, Oklahoma where she spent her years through the teens.
March 19, 1936, she married Belvin Earl Sellers. To this marriage was born two sons, Gary Belvin Sellers and Max Troy Sellers.
The Sellers family moved to the Waynesville - St. Robert area in April, 1951. They have owned the Bon Aire apartments for a number of years.
Icelone has been a long time member of the Eastern Star, Hanson No. 22, and a member of the United Methodist Church of Waynesville. Her favorite hobby was bowling.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jess Norris officiating. Music was provided by organist Dorothy Moore.
Escorts were: Raymond Beard, George Curtis, Gordon Davis, Jim Dodds, John Stacy, and Kenton Wagner. Honorary escorts were: Charles Hall, Steve Lynch, Tom Lynch, Ben Romine, and Ross Tallerino.
Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Bertha Maupin.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her survivors include her husband, Belvin; two sons, Gary E. Sellers of Plano, Texas, and Max G. Sellers of St. Robert; one brother, Max G. Maupin of Rolla, Missouri; a granddaughter, Sherry Crow of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a grandson, John Sellers, now serving with the United States Army; one great-grandson, Jeremiah Crow; 2 nieces, aunts, and numerous cousins; and many loving friends.
A Memorial has been suggested by the family to the United Methodist Church Building Fund.
