As a young woman she moved to St. Louis. She and her husband, Arthur moved to Dixon and he worked in the railroad terminal in Helm. He worked with the Frisco railroad in St. Louis, when he retired they moved back to Dixon. Later she moved back to St. Louis where she resided at the time of her death. While living in Dixon she attended the Hancock Christian Church.
Funeral services were held in the Long Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 8, 1986 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Earl Jones officiating. Burial was in the Dixon Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Donald, Richard, Donald II, Phillip and Roger McCombs and Eugene Goodman.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Lerlie Beisher of St. Louis, several nieces and nephews, Gertrude McCombs of St. Ann, Paul Schymos of Rosemead, California, Mary Milliaron of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Grace Slong of St. Ann, Viola Klinger of Allenton, Lillian Hoff of Fenton, Cita Goodman of St. Louis and Marie Reeves of Overland, with other relatives and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
