On November 18, 1950, she was united in marriage with Warren Bays, and to this union two children were born. She is preceded in death by one son Warren Lynn, her parents, and one brother, Leroy Hendrix.
Beverly was a native of Pulaski County, where she was employed with Brown Shoe Company for several years, and with H.D. Lee for twelve years.
In 1951 she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckhorn, where she remained a member.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 3, 1986 at 1:00 p.m. with Ministers Rev. Norman Sanders and Rev. F.S. Hammons officiating.
Resting place was in the Buckhorn Cemetery.
Escorts for Mrs. Bays were: Dickie Bales, Charles Brittain, Dennis Hartley, Jim Bales, Harry Case and Bob Allison.
Those left to mourn her passing include her husband Warren of the home; one son Dennis and his wife Yvonna of Waynesville; three brothers, Dee, Buck, and Dallas Hendrix all of Waynesville; one sister, Lavone Sinclair of Waynesville; a daughter-in-law Susan Perry and her husband John of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Eric, Mandy and Christina; other relatives and a host of many friends.
