Metta had accepted Christ as her Saviour. She loved her family very much and had been a homemaker all her life. She liked to work in her garden, loved flowers, and enjoyed pets.
Metta will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Wroe, nad daughter, Bonnie June, of the home; three brothers: Delmar Corpier of Sedalia, Missouri; Okley Corpier of Newburg; Leon Corpier of Des Moines, Iowa; three sisters: Fern Ernst of Dixon, Missouri; Mary Levon Corpier of St. James, Missouri; and Darlene Carr of Bunker, Missouri.
Visitation was held Friday evening, May 16, 1986 with family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 17, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. at the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Virgil White officiating.
Escorts were: Gary Carmack, Nathan Carmack, Danny Crossland, Danny Graves, Marion Mallow, Clayton Wilson, Danny Wilson, and Jim Laughlin.
Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
A memorial has been established.
