She attended schools in Bloodland and Springfield and was a teacher for several years. Later she became a Doctor of Chiropractic and practiced in Ash Grove and Springfield for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church, The Business and Professional Womens Organization and P.E.O. and was active in Democrat Organizations in Greene County.
Until her recent illness, she was active, often walking to the church to meet with the ladies who made quilts and comforts for the poor. Her interest were in her family, friends, and neighbors, all of which mourn her passing.
She died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, January 25, in Cox Hospital North, in Springfield, Mo.
Services are at Greenlawn North, Springfield, Mo., January 29, Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lora Harding, Neosho, Mo., six grandchildren, Julie White and Edward J. both of Springfield, Francis Ellis, Gig Harbor, Washington, Linda Perez and Mary Ann Harding of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and Gregory, Little Rock, Arkansas, nine great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her son, Edward, passed away three years ago.
