On September 2, 1948 he was inited in marriage with Gladys Mackney in Camdenton, Missouri.
As a young man, Lenford professed his faith in Jesus Christ and has been a member of the Richland United Methodist Church for a number of years. He loved his church and took a very active part in its functions, serving as trustee on the official board.
Funeral services were held at Colonial Funeral Chapel, 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 1986 with Minister Rev. John Appling officiating.
Burial was at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Escorts were Bob Williams, John Smith, Lloyd Bohannon, Roy Joe Perkins, Jay Powers, and Danny Zeigenbein.
Those surviving include his wife Gladys; one brother Willard Fritts of Osage Beach, Missouri; one sister Bernice Roberts of Richland; other relatives and many friends.
Lenford is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Leona Fritts.
