He was united in marriage with Vera Hawkins, on April 26, 1933, and to this union was born two children, both surviving.
“Clem” as he was known by his family and friends, was a member of the Hazelgreen United Methodist Church.
In 1973 he retired from Post Engineers at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He was a member of Richland Masonic Lodge No. 385 for a number of years.
Those surviving include his wife Vera, of Richland; one son, Joseph William Jeter of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Carrollee Brown of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Travis Jeter of Richland; three grandchildren, Clarice L. Brown, Derek W. and Corey A. Jeter; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Leola Anderson.
