Uncle Jimmie Lee died at his home in Richland last Friday
evening. He was probably the oldest man in this part of the country, being 98
or 99 years of age. He was remarkably active considering his age and often
walked up town without assistance. His passing away was said to be as peaceful
as a babe going to sleep. He was a member of the Christian church and had many
friends in Richland and surrounding county.
