Sarah J. Howard (1862-1906)

Mrs. Ed Howard died Friday night at her residence near here, and was buried Sunday at Bates' graveyard, near Waynesville. The bereaved husband has our sympathy.

Bates Cemetery in Pulaski County, MO is located near Waynesville, Missouri at the end of Pippin Road, also known as Revere Lane. It is beside the Bartlett Cemetery. This road is blocked off with a locked gate long before you can reach the cemeteries. If you could continue along this road you may be able to see the ruins of Pippin Place. This road also takes you to the site of Bartlett's Mill, believed to be one of the first settlements in Pulaski County.
