Mary (Keeler) Trower 1823-1902

DIED- Saturday, Jan. 4, of pneumonia, Mrs. Mary Trower. Grandma Trower was one of the oldest persons in this county and with her husband, was among the early settlers of the county. She has been widowed several years and at the time of her death was visiting at the home of her son-in-law, J. Goodman of Hancock.

Trower Cemetery

Trower Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., on Swedeborg (Reporter) Road, between Waynesville and Swedeborg, Missouri.

It is a small family cemetery with approximately 17 marked graves. In addition to members of the Trower family, members of the Bartlett and Carter families are interred in Trower Cemetery. The oldest dated stone is that of Mary M. Trower, infant daughter of W.P. and N.C., who passed away 12 May, 1891. The most recent dated stone marks the grave of Rosa D. Trower who died in 1963, approximately 84 years of age. Wilfred R. Trower, a World War II Veteran is buried in Trower Cemetery.
