Bertha Belle (Hance) Warnol 1896-1981

Bertha Belle Warnol was born at Arlington, near Jerome, the daughter of Barry and Dora Agnes Allison Hance on February 5, 1896 and passed away in the Phelps County Regional Center in Rolla on Saturday morning, January 17, 1981.  She had attained the age of 84 years.

She was united in marriage to Charles Warnol in the Waynesville Court House by Rev. S.D. Scrivner on June 13, 1914.  They have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.  Unto this union 6 children were born.

She has been a member of the Pisgah Church in Dixon since April, 1914, joined Garnet Chapter No. 283, Order of the Eastern Star on March 10, 1947 and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held in the Gilbert Chapel on Monday January 19, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. with Pryor Ray Prewett officiating.  Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of the Gilbert Funeral Home of Dixon.

Serving as pallbearers were Ray and Gene Wagoner, Everett Sharp, Theron, Donald Ray and Carl Warnol.

Mrs. Warnol is survived by her husband Charles of the home; 3 daughters, Grace Collier of Dixon, Minnie Patton of Rolla and Gladys Hargis of Devil’s Elbow; 1 son Charles Jr. of Hurley, Mississippi; 1 brother Eugene Hance of Orlando, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 1 son James, 1 daughter Lucy, 2 grandsons, Jim and Clay Jr., 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Louise Frances (Jones) Warnol 1928-2011

Louise Frances (Jones) Warnol, age 82 of Hurley, MS passed away May 21, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends. Mrs. Warnol was born in Dixon, MO to Clem and Amanda Jones on August 15, 1928. Louise was married to Charles R. Warnol, Jr. on June 29, 1946. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years and one grandson, Carl Dean Warnol, two brothers, Victor Jones and Louis Jones and one sister, Lillian (Jones) Martin.

 She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Charles (Connie) Warnol, two daughters, Linda Warnol and Sharla Warnol and two grandsons, Craig Warnol and Chad Warnol all of Hurley, MS. She also leaves behind one sister, Oprha (Jones) Kelly and one brother, Wilbur (Viola) Jones both of Dixon, Mo, along with numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Warnol was a member of the Church of God, Pine Grove congregation where she served faithfully as a pastor’s wife during the more than 26 years that her late husband, Charles R. Warnol Jr. was pastor. She loved her Lord and Saviour and was a shining example of what a Godly woman should be.

Visitation will be held at Pine Grove Church of God from 10:00am to 12:00pm, services start at 12:00pm with Bro. Larry Dishman and Bro. Clarence Campell officiating. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Strickler, William Skaggs, Jon Woods, George Colgrove, Austin Dishman and David Skaggs.

Kenneth Joe Warnol 1930-2012

Kenneth Joe Warnol of Dixon passed away January 6, 2012 at the age of 81 years.

Kenneth was born August 9, 1930 in Dixon, Missouri the son of Joseph Franklin and Rose Mae Warnol.

Kenneth loved the outdoors and fishing, he enjoyed working and helping people. He was a Christian and baptized at the Tower Grove Baptist Church at the age of 5 years and attended the Santee Church for over forty years.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters: Norma, Pauline, Helen. Kenneth is survived by his wife Maridel of Dixon, 2 daughters: Kay Watkins and husband Ben of Michigan, Gay Warnol of Dixon, 2 sons: Kenneth Dee Warnol and wife Patty of Dixon, Jim Warnol and wife Debra of Iberia. 8 grandchildren: Ryan, Spencer, Amy, Trevor, Jessica, Holly, Harley, Alesia, Burgundy, and numerous great - great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 5pm-8pm at the Santee Community Church. The funeral service will be January 11, 2012 at 11:00am at the Santee Community Church in Dixon, Missouri.

Interment will be at the Seaton Cemetery in Dixon, MO.

Thelma Warnol 1918-2012

Thelma Warnol, 93 of Dixon, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence near Dixon.

Born November 30, 1918, near Newburg a daughter of Andrew and Relora (Brinkley) Wagoner.

Married December 21, 1935, at Waynesville to William Theron Warnol who preceded her in death on March 8, 2001.

She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, Jerome.

Survivors: 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Donald and Tina Warnol and Carl and Cindy Warnol, all of Dixon; one son-in-law, George “Bud” Sommer, Dixon.

4 daughters: Barbara Warnol, Dixon; Kathryn Warnol, Rolla; Carolyn Evans, Dixon and Relora Wills, Dixon
15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.

Interment in the Warnol Family Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2012 and 12 – 1 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, all in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon
