WAYNESVILLE- Funeral services for Edwin Charles Hansen, 64, of Waynesville, who died Wednesday in St. Roberts, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Moss-Williams Chapel. The Rev. Billy Hargrove will officiate and burial will be in Waynesville Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife , Beulah; one son, Gary, of Waynesville; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Smith, of Lebanon, and Mrs. Bernice Hanson, Lebanon; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Leonard, and Oscar, all of Iowa state; and one sister, Mrs. Grace Johnson, also of Iowa.

Lydia (Hendrickson) Rynning 1901-1986

Lydia Rynning was born in South Dakota on February 11, 1901, the daughter of Henry and Laura Hansen Hendrickson and passed away in the Lake of the Ozarks Hospital in Osage Beach on February 14, 1986.  She had attained the age of 85 years and 4 days.

She was united in marriage to Arthur Rynning on October 9, 1926 and unto this union 1 son and 1 daughter were born.

In 1982, she and Arthur moved to Dixon and they attended the Methodist Church.  In 1984, she moved to Tri County Nursing Home in Richland.

Graveside services were held in Ashland, Tennessee all under the direction of the Long Funeral Home of Dixon.

She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Rosilee Rynning of Dixon, 1 son-in-law and his wife, Perry and Burma Harris of Palmyra, Tennessee, 2 sisters, Edna Larson of Beresford, South Dakota and Nora Shoemaker of Maywood, California, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Lavonne Harris, and two brothers, Silas and Bob Hendrickson.

Elizabeth Sue (Rice) Hansen 1938-2004

Elizabeth Sue Hansen, daughter of the late Cecil and Lucylle (Davis) Rice, was born October 12, 1938 at Marshfield, Missouri.

As a young girl, Sue's family moved to Waynesville where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1956.

On June 23, 1957, Sue married Gary Lee Hansen in Waynesville. Sue and Gary shared one son, Cary. Gary preceded Sue in death on May 5, 2002.

Sue ran the license fee office in Waynesville for over 7 years. But for the majority of her working years, she helped run the family dry cleaning business, Rice's Cleaners. Sue was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hansen Chapter #22.

Sue departed this life the afternoon of December 1, 2004, in St. John's Regional Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 20 days.

Sue was dearly loved, and will be sadly missed by her son: Cary Lee Hansen and his wife, Donna of Waynesville; one sister: Patsy Woodman of Springfield; one brother: Paul Rice and his wife, Janice of Waynesville; her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 4, 2004 in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Danny Graves officiating. Soloist Becky Lercher sang "Beyond the Sunset" and 'You'll Never Walk Alone". Serving as escorts were Jeffrey Huffman, Steven Huffman, Ed Kubisiak, Gary Kubisiak, Brad Rice and Robert Rice.

Burial followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions are suggested in memory of Sue Hansen to the Pulaski County Humane Society or any other animal welfare organization of the donor's choice and may be left at Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

PHYLLIS J.HANSEN, 1931-1990

Funeral services for Phyllis J. Hansen, 59, of Plato, will be held Tuesday, August 28, 1990, at 10 p.m. in Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Judi Dodson officiating. Burial will be in the Palace Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Hansen, a Licensed Practical Nurse, died Saturday, August 25 at 11:05 p.m. in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.

She is survived by her mother, Alma Ramsey of Binford, ND; two daughters, Deborah Dieman of Plato and Julie Wagoner of Rolla; three sons, Bruce Therkelsen of Dixon, Kenneth Therkelsen of Cedar Rapids IA, and David Therkelsen of Montgomery AL; three sisters, Elaine Dahl of Fargo ND, Marianne Bowden of Fargo ND, and Connie Beer of Brush Prairie WA; four brothers, Gordon Ramsey of Minot ND, John Ramsey of Chicago IL, David Ramsey of Regina, Saskatchewan, and Gary Ramsey of Binford ND; and eleven grandchildren.

Seth Allen Pendleton Hansen April 10, 2009-April 16, 2009

Seth Allen Pendleton Hansen, infant son of Justin Hansen and Shannon Pendleton, was born on April 10, 2009, in the St. Johns Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis, and departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2009, in the St. Johns Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis. Seth has attained the age of 6 days.

Those left to mourn the passing of Seth include: his parents, Justin Hansen and Shannon Pendleton, Dixon; his brother, Joey Davis, his triplet brothers, James and Ian Pendleton-Hansen, all of Dixon; grandparents, Rob Pendleton, Dixon; Bernard Gregrio, Tucson, Arizona; and Howard and Christie Hansen, Tucson, Arizona; and great-grandparents, Bob and Geraldine Pendleton, Dixon, and a host of other relatives.

A memorial service was conducted for Seth at 5:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in the First Baptist Church, Dixon with Rev. Brandon McCombs officiating.

All arrangements under the direction of the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.

Margarethe Hansen 1919-2009

Margarethe Hansen, of Dixon, was born in Kiel, Germany on April 12, 1919, and departed this life at 1:22 p.m., Sunday afternoon, March 29, 2009, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, following a brief illness. Mrs. Hansen had attained the age of 89 years, 11 months, and 17 days.

Mrs. Hansen was united in marriage on November 18, 1944, in Germany to Marius Anton Hansen. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 13, 2005; and her parents.

Mrs. Hansen had attended the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dixon and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and needlework. She had done factory work as well as being a housewife and homemaker, always diligent in providing for the needs of her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Hansen include: one son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Elizabeth Petersen, Dixon; three grandchildren, Rhonda Trout and Teressa Fowler, both of Dixon and Suzanna Mueller, Germany; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A Rosary service was held for Mrs. Hansen at 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, April 2, 2009 in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon, with Rev. Walter Reisinger leading.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Mrs. Hansen at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2009, in the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dixon, with Rev. Walter Reisinger officiating.

Interment was in the Egan Cemetery, near Dixon, under the direction of the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
