Ousley: John Ellsworth, Robert Leonard, Henry, Infant Son, Henry Everett & Infant Chambers

This entry is from the J.J. Watts collection. John J. Watts hailed from Warren, Maine and moved to the northern Ozarks of Missouri sometime after the Civil War. He was a circuit-riding Baptist Minister and his territory covered Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas Counties and parts of Maries and Dent Counties. He established a cemetery, Watt’s Lawn, which is located 1 mile West of J Highway, near the Pulaski County-Phelps County line. This collection covers 1882-1912.

John Elsworth, son of Crawford and Catherine Ousley, born in Pulaski Co., Oct 4th 1867, died there Feb. 9th 1868, aged 4 ms. and 5 ds.
Robert Leonard, son of Crawford and Catherine Ousley, born May 19th 1870, died Oct 4th 1872, aged 2 ys. 6 ms. and 15 ds.
Henry, son of Crawford and Catherine Ousley, born Aug. 14th 1886, died Sept. 10th 1886, aged 26 days.
Infant son of Christian and Lucy Ousley, born dead July 7th 1881.
Henry Everett, son of James S. and Leann Victoria Ousley, born Ma rch 4th 1887, died Jan'y 28th 1888, aged 10 ms. and 24 ds.
Infant son of James R. and Catherine Chambers, born Aug. 21st 1889, and died Sept. 3d 1889, aged 12 ds.
