David is survived by his mother, Cynthia Cobb of Dixon; a brother, James Cobb of Dixon; and two sisters: Cindy Monroe of West Plains, and Francine Nieblas, of Dixon.
MR. DAVID COBB
David Charles Cobb, of Dixon, was born on July 23, 1961, in Salinas, California, a son of J.C. and Cynthia Jane (Beesinger) Cobb and departed this life at 9:29 p.m., Friday evening, August 14, 2009, in the Phelps County regional Medical Center, Rolla. David had attained the age of 48 years and 22 days.
David was preceded in death by his father on March 13, 2002; his grandparents; a niece, Roxanne Michelle Monroe and aunts and uncles.
David had attended the Light House Worship Center, Dixon and had worked at Quaker Window Products, Freeburg.
Those left to mourn the passing of David include: his mother, Mrs. Cynthia Cobb, Dixon; one brother, James Albert Cobb, Dixon; two sisters, Cindy Michelle Mozelle Monroe, St. Robert and Francine Juanita Nieblas, Dixon; nephews, Rex Monroe, Waynesville; Jonathan Monroe, Jackson; James Cobb, II, Dixon; and Brayden Moore, Dixon; nieces, Mara Cobb, Rolla; Cassandra Cobb, Dixon and Mindy Monroe, St. Robert; great-nephews, Michael and Mason Monroe; uncle, James Cobb, state of Arizona; aunts, Rosa Fanning, Dixon; Mary Tidwell, Lebanon and Linda Northrip, Stoutland; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for David at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2009, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes with Pastor Lloyd Mattocks, Light House Worship Center, officiating. “Amazing Grace”, “I Will Always Love You”, “I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain” were played for the service.
Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery, near Dixon, under the direction of the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Relatives and Friends served as pallbearers for David.
