Jeffery Scott “Bucky” Eads 1966-1986

Jeffery Scott “Bucky” Eads, of Route 1, Vienna, was born on June, 30, 1966, at Jefferson City, and departed this life at 1:30 a.m. on Friday morning, April 11, 1986, as a result of injuries sustained in a pickup truck accident which occurred five miles north of Vienna on Highway 63 at Paydown Road.  He had attained the age of 19 years, 9 months and 12 days.

He was a 1984 graduate of the Maries R-1 High School, Vienna and was employed as a roofer by the Crabtree and Sons Roofing, Vienna, at the time of his death.

Fond memories of Bucky will long be remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were conducted for Bucky at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, April 13, 1986, in the Viena Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes with the Rev. Roger Crossgrove, Vienna United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment was in Visitation Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.

Pallbearers were Floyd Crabtree, Ronnie Kingery, Jay James, John Eads, Greg Asher, and Doug Eads.

He is survived by his parents, Fuzz and Sue Grant, Vienna, paternal grandmother, Mrs. Byrtle Gant, Vienna; maternal grandparents Bennie and Minnie Eads, Vienna; three sisters, Becky Gant, Angie Gant, and Amy Gant, all of the home near Vienna; uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.
