Effie Page Wayman 1904-1981

Effie Page Wayman, daughter of Francis and Elzada (Lane) Page was born April 27, 1904 near Big Piney, Missouri and passed away June 9, 1981 at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Waynesville.  She had attained the age of 77 years, 1 month, and 13 days.

She attended Bayou School in Big Piney.  She was converted at the age of 16 and united with the Hopewell Baptist Church at Big Piney in 1920.  She never moved her membership and remained a faithful christian.

She was united in marriage to William H. Wayman on August 23, 1926, and unto this union 4 children were born: Loyd, Marjorie, Gerald, and Larry.

She is survived by her husband, William, of the home in Waynesville, Missouri; her 4 children: Loyd Wayman, Orangevale, California, Marjorie (Wayman) Williamson, Kingston, Washington, Gerald and Larry Wayman, both of San Andreas, California, 11 living grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Lena Gray and Emma Firestine, both of Waynesville, Missouri; 1 brother, Bob Page of Merced, California, and numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 13, 1981 at the Long-Moss-Williams Chapel in Waynesville, Missouri at 10 a.m. with Reavil Hankins officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Cemetery at Empire, California under the direction of the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home of Ceres, California.
