Death of Mrs. W.L. Lane

Mrs. W.L. Lane, who formerly lived in this county, died at the home of her husband at Arlington, Okla., November 30, 1902, from the effects of a serious burn she received the 22 of October while making soap by a fire in the yard. Mrs. Lane was born in Hamilton county, Illinois, May 14, 1847, and was 52 years, 7 months and 16 days old.

She was married to W.L. Lane in 1871 and was the mother of nine children, eight of whom are still living. She was a member of the Baptist church and a devout christian and had many friends in Pulaski county, as well as in Oklahoma where she had lived for several years. Her last days were made as pleasant as possible by kind friends and neighbors and her death sadly mourned by all.

Effie Page Wayman 1904-1981

Effie Page Wayman, daughter of Francis and Elzada (Lane) Page was born April 27, 1904 near Big Piney, Missouri and passed away June 9, 1981 at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Waynesville.  She had attained the age of 77 years, 1 month, and 13 days.

She attended Bayou School in Big Piney.  She was converted at the age of 16 and united with the Hopewell Baptist Church at Big Piney in 1920.  She never moved her membership and remained a faithful christian.

She was united in marriage to William H. Wayman on August 23, 1926, and unto this union 4 children were born: Loyd, Marjorie, Gerald, and Larry.

She is survived by her husband, William, of the home in Waynesville, Missouri; her 4 children: Loyd Wayman, Orangevale, California, Marjorie (Wayman) Williamson, Kingston, Washington, Gerald and Larry Wayman, both of San Andreas, California, 11 living grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Lena Gray and Emma Firestine, both of Waynesville, Missouri; 1 brother, Bob Page of Merced, California, and numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 13, 1981 at the Long-Moss-Williams Chapel in Waynesville, Missouri at 10 a.m. with Reavil Hankins officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Cemetery at Empire, California under the direction of the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home of Ceres, California.

Opal Lee (Morrow) Wagner 1911-2005

Opal Lee Wagner, one of five children born to the union of the late Houston and Mary Agnes (Lane) Morrow, was born November 6, 1911 at Moab, Missouri in Pulaski County.

She departed this life the evening of October 19, 2005 in her home at Barnhart, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 11 months and 13 days.

On March 2, 1995 in Miami, Oklahoma, Opal married William Wagner. Bill preceded her in death on May 18, 2005.

Opal was employed as a file clerk for civil service in St. Louis for over 30 years. She enjoyed exploring genealogy, working in her flower garden, cooking and visiting with family and friends.

Opal is survived by several stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Opal was preceded in death by her brother: Lawrence Morrow and three sisters: Mildred Brown, Eunice Willoughby and Jeanette McCulloch.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2005 in the Memorial Chapel of Waynesville with Rev. Richard Breeden officiating. Soloist Becky Lercher sang "Amazing Grace and "Peace In The Valley. Serving as escorts were family and friends.

Burial followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Waynesville.

Vada Marie (McKinnon) Lane 1939-2006

Vada Marie Lane, daughter of the late Arthur and Vera (Farris) McKinnon, was born January 7, 1939 in St. Robert, Missouri.

She departed this life the evening of June 18, 2006 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Vada grew up and attended school in Pulaski County. She attended the Gospel Ridge Church in St. Robert, and also the Sweet Home Church in Crocker.

On June 30, 1954 in Waynesville, Vada was united in marriage with Robert Lane. Vada and Bob shared six children, Robert, Alvin, Brenda, Marilyn, Tina and Linda.

Over the years, Vada has painted houses for many people in the area. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting.

Vada will be sadly missed by her children: Robert Lee Lane, Alvin Lane, Brenda Mosier and Marilyn Babineaux all of St. Robert; two brothers: Leonard McKinnon of St. Robert and Delbert McKinnon of Crocker; one sister: Dana Jones of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Vada was preceded in death by her husband, Bob in 1993; two daughters: Tina Marie Watts and Linda Lane and one grandson, Joshua Watts and one brother: Elmer McKinnon.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 22, 2006 in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Danny Graves officiating. Serving as escorts were Raymond Climer, Mike Fenelle, Alvin Lane, Dale Ray Lewis, Fred Mosier and Nolan Mosier. Serving as honorary escorts were Robert Lane and Leonard McKinnon. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Waynesville/St. Robert.

Jennifer Lynette (Kusgen) May 1983-2009

Born April 6, 1983 to proud parents Dennis Kusgen and Patricia Lane, Jennifer Kusgen was the eldest granddaughter of Clarence and Mertyl Kusgen, Les and Carol Harrington, and Thompson and Mary Caldwell. She was born in Columbia, Missouri, and spent the majority of her childhood in Laquey, Missouri with her brother Billy “Boogie” Rains, sister Ricki Rains, and cousins Nakia and Johnny Lewis. Her step-father Billy Rains Sr. helped to raise her.

Jennie (as she preferred to be called and was known by anyone fortunate enough to have met her) attended school in Laquey, Missouri. She played softball and volleyball and was well liked and respected by her classmates.

In June of 1999, she met her soul mate DeWayne May, whom she would spend the rest of her days with. On January 1, 2003, DeWayne and Jennie spoke their vows to each other, and began living as husband and wife. They were legally wed at Harmony Baptist Church in Buckhorn, Missouri on March 16, 2005. In doing so, Jennie gained two stepchildren, Genesis and DeWayne May, whom she loved dearly.

She spent her professional adult years as a waitress, a job that she enjoyed, very much as evidenced by her great attitude and constant smile. Her hobbies and interests included scrap booking, photography, going anywhere with her husband and step-children, as well as spending time with her brother (who lived with her most of her life after she left the home at age 16), and sister.

Jennie left us on November 11, 2009 at 1:58 pm, after complications from a serious illness. She was just 26 years old. Her smile and unforgettable personality will be missed by all who knew and came in contact with her, as the world has suffered a great loss in losing this precious soul.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband, DeWayne, step-daughter, Genesis, and step-son, DeWayne, all of the home; her father, Dennis Kusgen of California, MO; her mother, Patricia Lane of Waynesville, MO; her brother and sister Billy “Boogie” and Ricki Rains of Waynesville, MO; her grandmother, Mary Caldwell of Laquey, MO; her grandmother, Mertyl Kusgen of California, MO; her grandparents, Les and Carol Harrington of Vinita, OK; her father and mother-in-law, Bearl and Faye May of Waynesville, MO; her sister-in-law Melissa May of Waynesville; brother and sister-in-law Damon and Amber May of Morrison, CO; brother-in-law Matt May of Prescott Valley, AZ; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, a soon-to-be-arriving niece or nephew, and many friends.

Receiving her into Heaven will be Tasha Kusgen, Jennie’s sister, Thompson Caldwell, Jennies’ grandfather and most special man in her upbringing, and Clarence Kusgen, grandfather from her father’s family.

Jennie May will be greatly missed, but never forgotten…

Memorial services were held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory with Rev. Christopher Hendrix officiating. Several friends recalled their wonderful memories of Jennie and her husband DeWayne gave a beautiful eulogy celebrating the life of his wife. The songs “Love, Me”, “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” and “Goodbye” were played. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory.

DEAD AT AGE 57
Was Sister of G. W. Lane of Jefferson City

Mrs. Nancy Coogan, 57, lifelong resident of Waynesville, Mo., died at
3 a.m. this morning in the Mount St. Rose hospital in St. Louis
following a two-months illness.

Mrs. Coogan was born September 12, 1881, a daughter of Jerry and Mary
Lane. She received her education in Waynesville schools and later was
married to E. G. Coogan, who survives her. She was a member of the
Catholic church.

Other survivors: Three daughters, Margaret and Georgia of the family
home; Mrs. William Deeken of Waynesville; two sons, Pat and Orville
Coogan of Waynesville; one brother, G. W. Lane of Jefferson City and
one sister, Mrs. Minnie Gray of St. Louis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the St. Peters
Church here and internment will be in the church cemetery.

Cora Ann (Miller) Lane 1873-1958

Mrs. George W. Lane, Sr. Succumbed At Hospital Here, Funeral Yesterday

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. George W. Lane, Sr., who passed away Monday at Waynesville General Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past ten days.

Mrs. Lane was a member of a pioneer Pulaski County family, having been born at Big Piney, Missouri, almost eighty-five years ago. She had spent her entire life in this county except for a few years she resided in Jefferson City when her husband, the late George W. Lane, Sr., was a representative of Pulaski County in the Missouri House of Representatives. Mr. Lane passed away about two years ago.

Mrs. Lane was one of the best loved ladies of this county and by her gracious and friendly attitude made friends wherever she went. The large crowd which attended the services attested to the respect and love of her host of friends. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church for many years and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

The Rev. John L. Hicks, who had at one time been her pastor and who was a lifetime friend of the family, made a few remarks at the services. The Rev. B.R. Tatom delivered the funeral services, which was followed by a short funeral service by members of the Order of Eastern Star. The pallbearers were Ewell Johnson, Sterling Rollins, James Laughlin, Byron Eldredge, Leslie A. Smith, and LeClair Long.

George Washington Lane, Senior 1873-1956

PROMINENT CIVIC, BUSINESS LEADER

Prominent Pulaski County Resident Had Been In Failing Health For Several Years. Was Former Publisher of Pulaski County Democrat

George Washington Lane, Senior, prominent Pulaski County pioneer, passed away here Friday, January 13 at 1:30 a.m., following a heart attack a few hours previously. He had been in failing health for a number of years.

Mr. Lane had been an active in civil, educational, and political affairs of Pulaski County for 65 years. At one time he dealt extensively in real estate and was considered an authority on tracts of land. He knew the histories of the old families of Pulaski County and could trace them back several generations. He had a keen memory as to names, dates, and places, and was a gifted and interesting conversationalist. He was a militant and outspoken Democrat and stayed faithful to the party to the last.

He was able to be out and about town until he suffered an acute pain in the chest the evening before he passed away the following morning.

He was born in Phelps County, Missouri, September 20, 1873. He died at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 24 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeremiah Ewing Lane and Mary A. (nee Page), one daughter , Hazel Lane Adams, one step-daughter Alleyene Duncan, four sisters, and one brother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cora A., one daughter, Mrs. Bertie Shultz of Kansas City, one son, George Junior, of the home, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Gray of St. Louis.

He was united in marriage to Cora A. Miller Duncan April 26, 1905.

He graduated from the Waynesville and Dixon schools and later took a course at State Teachers College in Springfield and began teaching at the age of 17, continuing in the profession 12 years.

He was active in Democratic circles for 60 years and was first elected Surveyor of Pulaski County in 1900.

In 1904 he was elected Collector of the Revenue and served two terms. He was also owner and publisher of the Pulaski County Democrat between 1912-1914.

He served as postmaster at Waynesville during the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson. Mr. Lane was Chairman of Democratic Central Committee, member of Congressional and Senatorial Committees, member of the Waynesville School Board, and served as mayor.

In early manhood he was also engaged in the Drug business in Waynesville and throughout his life active in civic and educational affairs.

In 1933 he was appointed, by Gov. Guy B. Park, Assistant Secretary, and later Secretary and Cashier of the Department of Penal Institutions in Jefferson City where he and his family lived ten years.

He was elected Representative of Pulaski County in 1944 and agin in 1946 and served on the following committees: Agriculture, Criminal Justice and Costs, Mines and Mining, and Social Security.

Mr. Lane was a member of the Royal Arch Masons, Chapter 32 at Rolla, the Masonic and I.O.O.F. Orders of Waynesville.

He was truly a man of action and interest in the welfare of his town and county.

He was a devoted husband, a kind and loving father, a faithful friend, and will be missed by his family and host of friends.

His favorite poem, by Tennyson, follows:

When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Last rites were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Waynesville by the Pastor B.R. Tatom assisted by Rev. John L. Hicks and burial was in the Waynesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home of Waynesville.

Waynesville Lodge No. 375, of which Mr. Lane was a member, conducted last rites at the graveside. Pall bearers were Leslie A. Smith, Sterling Rollins, Ewell Johnson, LeClair Long, Byron Eldredge, and Kenneth Mitchell.

Mary Jane Lane 1898-1975

Mary Jane Lane was born March 11, 1898 at Crocker, Missouri, and passed away at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital on October 14, 1975, after having attained the age of 77 years, 7 months, and 3 days.

She was united in marriage on April 5, 1925 to Byran A. Lane who preceded her in death on February 5, 1957.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons: Robert B. of Waynesville, Missouri, and Lloyd E. of Crocker, Missouri; and 2 daughters Cora E. Haney of Wister, Oklahoma, and Catherine B. Nicks of Waynesville, Missouri.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Ella Dodds, of Waynesville, Missouri.

She was a member of the Gospel Ridge Union Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday October 16, 1975, at 2 p.m. at the Moss-Williams Chapel in Waynesville, Missouri with the Reverend Billy F. Smith officiating.

Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Moss-Williams of Waynesville.

Pallbearers were: Dean Cowan, Robert Burnett, Charles Skinner, Snowden Ray, Bill Sumpter, and John Ray.

Robert Dale Welch 1926-1975

Robert Dale Welch, son of the late George D. and Annie Lane Welch, was born June 24, 1926, at Waynesville, Missouri.

He passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, 13 October, 1975, having attained the age of 49 years, 3 months, 19 days.

When Robert was a small boy the family moved to the Big Piney vicinity and it has continued to be his home.

On November 23rd, 1949 Robert was married to Lillian Hope York and to this union 2 sons were born.

He leaves to mourn his passing: His wife Lillian, of the home, a son Robert Dwight, of Plato, Missouri, and a son Randy dale of the home, his daughter-in-law Brenda Reed Welch, a granddaughter, Stacie Lynn, 1 sister and brother-in-law Opal and Simon Gilbert, of Big piney; 4 brothers, Vernon G. and Clyde L., of Big Piney, His twin brother, Orville Don, of Jefferson City, Missouri, James Leo of Palmdale, California, 9 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

His parents and a sister, Juanita Welch Berry, preceded him in death.

Robert was saved and united with the Hopewell Baptist Church when he was a young man. His deep faith substantiated him during his long illness.

Robert will be lovingly missed by all who knew him, but none would want to call him back for he is free from pain and is at peace in God’s loving care.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 16th, 1975, 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Ewell Groves, and the Rev. Martin Davis. Interment was in the Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of the Moss-Williams Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Charles Sidwell, Curtiss Spitker, Claudie Chambers, Paul Page, Dale Sanders, Ronald Chambers.

Hazel Lane (Lane) Adams 1906-1932

Mrs. Frank L. Adams, Formerly of This Place, Dies in St. Louis Hospital

Hazel Lane Adams passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, February 25 at St. John’s hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 25 years, 11 months and 17 days.

She entered into rest, peaceably and sweetly, with hands reaching Heavenward, and a smile upon her lips.

She was born in Waynesville, Missouri, graduated from the Waynesville high schools in 1923, and taught the grades in the Waynesville school for two terms-1924-25, and taught in the Dixon schools for three terms, 1926-27-28.

She was converted at the age of 13, and united with the Waynesville Baptist church, where she was a faithful and consecrated member, serving as pianist for several years, or until her marriage, being a talented musician.

She was united in marriage to Frank L. Adams, of Iberia, November 10, 1930, making their home for a while with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Adams, who loved her as their own daughter.

They established their own little home in Iberia about two years ago, which she loved and took so much joy in.

On February 6, she cheerfully went down “through the valley and shadow of death” sacrificing her life, that another life might be brought into the world, the little one that she had planned for so much, quietly sleeping in its newly made grave.

She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted husband, father mother, two sisters, one brother, and her husband’s parents, who loved her as their own daughter, and many other relatives and friends, making the latter wherever she was known.

Hazel was a beautiful woman, with a sweet personality and a smile for everyone.

Short funeral services were conducted at her old home, Friday afternoon, as the body was being conveyed to Iberia, conducted by Rev. H.C. Green and Rev. I.M. Cook, and Miss Grace Manchester sang one of her favorite songs, “Crossing The Bar”…

…she loved us, and in closing the final chapter of her earthly life, which is only the beginning of the fullness of Life Eternal for the christian, which we feel assured that she was, in the truest, fullest sense, the following poem, by Tennyson illustrates what she would want to say:

The great crowd estimated from 1,000 to 1,800 people who attended the last rites at Iberia Saturday afternoon, attested to the love and esteem in which she was held.

Funeral services were conducted from Iberia Baptist Church, Prof. G. Byron Smith, of the Iberia Junior College, giving the address, assisted by Rev. H.C. Green and Rev. I.M. Cook of this place, and at the close the Waynesville Chapter of the Order of eastern Star, of which she was a member, closed the service with their beautiful and impressive service, with the Iberia Chapter present.

Innterment was made in the Iberia cemetery, under the direction of the following funeral directors: Clarence Casey of Iberia, J.L. Hoops and Sons of Crocker, and F.H. Gilbert of Dixon.

Sorrow is the inevitable lot of us all; sooner or later it comes, and only one’s attitude toward sorrow determines the effect that it has on the lives of us all, for without sorrow, …

…life is a preparation after Death for the Great Adventure, which comes to the Christian, or those who have trusted in the Savior for So Great Salvation, where Hazel is, and every thing is complete for those who love Him.

We do not mourn for her as those who have no hope, but we know that we shall see her and worship with her again around the “Great White Throne” of God.

James William “Bill” Page 1891-1977

Bill Page Passes Away Sat. After Short Illness

James William “Bill” Page, son of pioneer Pulaski County Parents, David Francis Page and Elgada Lane Page, was born October 9, 1891 at Big Piney, Missouri and departed this life at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Waynesville, Missouri, on February 12th, 1977, after a short illness.

He was married to Nellie M. Jefferies on September 16, 1916, and after fifty-six years of mutual devotion he laid his beloved Nellie to her eternal rest on July 16, 1972.

He made his peace with God at an early age and joined the Hopewell Baptist Church at Big Piney in 1932 and remained a faithful member until his death.

At an advanced age he paid for and did much of the labor in putting a new roof on his church and worked hard trying to establish a perpetual care program for its cemetery.

Blessed with a friendly, humble nature, a sharp mind, a ready and engaging wit, a strong devotion to family and friends, a lover of children, a story teller with a remarkable memory as to faces, names, dates and events, Bill met the world with a wide grin, tall and trim, straight as an arrow with firm step to the end. He enjoyed life to its fullest. It can truly be said of Bill Page that the world is better and brighter for his having passed this way.

He leaves to mourn his passing, three sisters, Lena Gray, Effie Wayman and Emma Firestine, all of Waynesville, and a brother, Robert Page, of Mercede, California, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday February 16, 1977, at 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Reavil Hankins and Marvin Davis officiating. Interment was in the Big Piney Cemetery under the direction of Long-Moss-Williams of Waynesville. Pallbearers were: George Lane, James Firestine, Verner Page, Jerry Laughlin, Glen Jefferies, and Glen Roam. Organist was Mrs. David Link, and soloist Iva Mae Case.

Cora Ann (Miller) Lane 1873-1958

Cora Ann Miller, daughter of Richard and Julia Ann (Kelly) Miller, was born at Millers Mill near Big Piney on March 16, 1873 and departed this life March 3, 1958 at the age of 84 years and 11 months.

She was married to Frank Duncan of Spring Creek, Missouri in 1897 and to this daughter came one daughter, Lucy Alleyne Duncan, was born. Mr. Duncan died in 1898 and her daughter died in 1931.

She was united in marriage to George W. Lane on April 26, 1905. They moved to Waynesville soon after their marriage where three children were born: Hazen Lane Adams, Bertie Lane Shultz, and George W. Lane Jr. Mr. Lane died in 1956 and Hazel Lane Adams died in 1932. Also preceeding her in death were her parents, one sister, Mollie Hogan, and a brother, Danny Miller.

She is survived by one daughter, Bertie of Kansas City, Missouri, one son, George W. Lane Junior of Waynesville, a granddaughter, Carolyn Roberts of Kansas City, Missouri, a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Roberts of Kansas City, Missouri, and one sister, Elizabeth Haley of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, a kind and faithful friend and neighbor, and will be missed by a host of relatives and friends.

Bryan Alvin Lane 1902-1957

Popular County Employee Passes Away In Hospital Following Heart Attack

Bryan Lane, who for the past 35 years, had been an employee of the county, passed away at the Waynesville General Hospital February 5, where was taken following a heart attack suffered a few days previous. Mr. Lane was one of the best known and best liked men in this county.

Bryan Alvin lane was born November 1, 1902 at Waynesville, Missouri and passed away at the Waynesville General Hospital at the age of 54 years, 3 months, and 4 days.

Mr. Lane was united in marriage to Mary Jane Ray, April 5, 1925 and to this union were born two sons, Robert and Lloyd both residing at Waynesville and one daughter Catherine Nicks of Waynesville. He is also survived by one step-daughter Cora Haney of Ault, Colorado.

Mr. Lane was a member of the Gospel Ridge Baptist Church.

Mr. Lane worked as a county employee for the past 35 years.

Beside his family, Mr. Lane leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Musetta Cusick of Waynesville and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Waynesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Cox officiating, Friday February 8, 2:00 p.m. Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Cemetery under direction of Hedges Funeral Home of Waynesville.

Pallbearers were Dick Gray, Clayton Gray, Freddie Gray, Snowden Ray, Jess Ray, and Edd Roach.

Elvin Lee Lane Sr. 1934-2009

Elvin Lee Lane Sr., 74, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at his home.

He was born Aug. 28, 1934, at Big Piney, son of Claude and Clara Lane. He was raised from the age of three by Willie and Mary Lane. 

He joined the Navy in 1952 and was discharged in 1954. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; two sons, Elvin Jr. and Duane; a daughter, Janet; five brothers, Harold, Bob, Larry, Bill and Danny; four sisters, Della, Linda, Rhonda and Phyllis; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Mosher officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Licking Cemetery.
