Elvin Lee Lane Sr., 74, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at his home.
He was born Aug. 28, 1934, at Big Piney, son of Claude and Clara Lane. He was raised from the age of three by Willie and Mary Lane.

He joined the Navy in 1952 and was discharged in 1954. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; two sons, Elvin Jr. and Duane; a daughter, Janet; five brothers, Harold, Bob, Larry, Bill and Danny; four sisters, Della, Linda, Rhonda and Phyllis; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Mosher officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Licking Cemetery.
