Linda Gay (Beasley)Peglow 1956-2010

  Linda Gay Peglow, of Dixon, was born on November 29, 1956, at Waynesville, a daughter of Robert Henry and Clara Marthia Emmaline (Woolsey) Beasley and departed this life at 7:58 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2010, in the St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. Linda had attained the age of 53 years, 1 month and 9 days.
 
Linda was united in marriage on November 27, 1970, at Waynesville to Richard Charles Peglow, Sr. and to this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband  in 2007; her father in 1979; her mother in 1993; one daughter, Shannan Peglow in 1985; and one grandson.
 
Linda was a member of the Leismann-Roberts American Legion Post no. 298, Dixon; the Ladies Auxiliary, Dixon; and the Widows Support Group, Fort Leonard Wood. She had worked at Black Cat Manufacturing Company in Clinton, Missouri.
 
Those left to mourn the passing of Linda include: one son, Richard Charles Peglow, Jr., Moberly; one daughter, Tina Marie Peglow, Fulton; two brothers, Dennis Beasley and Mike Beasley, both of Dixon; three sisters, Janet Woolsey and Tammy Beasley, both of Dixon and Sheila Hastings, St. Robert; five grandchildren; special friend, Jessie Sudheimer, Dixon; and many other relatives and friends.
 
            Funeral services were conducted for Linda at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Pastor Larry Albertson, First Assembly of God, Dixon officiating. “Amazing Grace”, “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain’ were played for the service. 
 
Interment was in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dixon.
