Freddie Glenn Crawford 1935-2009

Freddie Glenn Crawford, of Waynesville, was born on February 20, 1935, at Mansfield, a son of Robert and Alice Victoria (Richman) Crawford and departed this life at 4:57 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Mr. Crawford had attained the age of 74 years, 8 months and 14 days.

Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Jo Crawford; one daughter, Debra Lynn Moore; and three great-grandchildren. He had worked as a laborer in the sawmill industry for many years.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Crawford include: two daughters, JoAnn Calhoon, Florence, Missouri and Lesa Clark, Grove Spring, Missouri; one sister, Mary Alice Asher, Hartville, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The family elected cremation with a private graveside memorial service and inurnment at a later date.

All arrangements were under the direction of the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
