Mrs. Marie Lucinda Christeson was born Aug. 8, 1869, at Edgar Springs, Phelps County. She passed away at the home of her sister. Mrs. Phoebe Shockley at Crocker, Mo., Feb 21 at 3:00 a. m.
She was survived by her mother, Mrs. E. M. Black and sister, Grace Elsworth of Cushing, Okla.and Mrs. Olive Shockley of Crocker.
She was first united with the M. F. Church at Waynesville, after with the Christian Church, where she was a good, true Christian up to the end. Her husband, W. H. Christeson preceded her last September, also her daughter, Mabel, died some eight years ago at Dixon. She was buried in Dixon Cemetery beside her loving husband, father and daughter to await the resurrection morn. The funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 2, at Dixon Christian Church, conducted by Rev. Requa, pastor of Grace M. F. Church -Contributed.
