Jackie Wayne Carroll 1949-1987

Jackie Wayne Carroll was born a son of Jack and Gladys (Rose) Carroll Page on April 14, 1949 in Waynesville, Missouri and departed this life Monday, April 27, 1987 at the age of 38 years.

Jackie was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses at kingdom Hall in Crocker, Missouri.

Jackie married Ollie Ann “Annie” Duncan on March 14, 1970 in Waynesville. To this union two sons were born.

Jackie grew up in Waynesville and graduated from Waynesville High School. He loved the outdoors, and liked to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed horses very much. Jackie lived in the Waynesville area all his life.

Jackie will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. There are memories that never will be forgotten.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Ron Bell officiating. Music was provided by tape.

Escorts were, Darrel Bond, Donald Duncan, Jeffery Duncan, Rick Hurt, Gary Rose, and Willie Witt. Honorary escorts was David Duncan.

Interment was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

A memorial has been established in memory of Jackie Carroll. Contributions may be left at the Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Annie, two sons, Frankie and Jason Carroll, all of the home; his mother Gladys Page of Waynesville and Step-father, Joe Page; one brother, Richard Carroll of Waynesville; and one sister, Mary Ann Formey-Duval of Waynesville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
