William Henry Mullen III 1963-2011

William Henry Mullen III, 47, of Waynesville, MO, a United States Marines veteran, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 with a service to follow at 12:00 Noon in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.

Burial with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery – Fort Leonard Wood.

Mr. Mullen is survived by his wife, Rhonda of the home; four stepchildren: Brandon Robertson of South Dakota, Stephannie Robertson who is deployed, Cassondra Stevens and Austin Still, both of Waynesville; one sister: Sylvia Willits of Lebanon, MO; five grandchildren: Coda, Caidennce, Faith, Joshia and Kaden; two nieces; one nephew; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of William Henry Mullen III and may be left at the funeral home.

Man is shot to death, suspected shooter is critical, after fight in Pulaski County

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. – A man died, another man is in critical condition, and a woman is less seriously injured after a shooting in Pulaski County on Tuesday night. Investigators said Wednesday that the shooting was the result of an argument between several people at a drinking party at a home.
The man who died was William Mullen III, 47, of Waynesville. He died of a shotgun wound. The man who is in critical condition is Michael Fennell, 51.
Dispatchers at 8:08 p.m. sent sheriff’s deputies to Fennell’s home at 22170 Lafayette Road, which is between Waynesville and St. Robert. The deputies found Mullen dead and Fennell injured.
Within 10 minutes, they found a third shooting victim inside St. Robert. Shortly after 9 p.m., law officers found a fourth person who had been at the party at another place in St. Robert. The sheriff’s department hasn’t released the names of those two people.
