Ray Dwight Johnson 1956-1981

Ray Dwight Johnson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Dixon and Eldon, was born on December 27, 1956, at Granite City, Illinois, a son of Harley Glen and Erma Jean Howser Johnson, and departed this life on Monday evening, June 1, 1981, near Muskogee, Oklahoma, as a result of accidental drowning.  Ray had attainted the age of 24 years, 5 months, and 4 days.

Ray was united in marriage on July 27, 1980, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the former Miss Linda Harjo, and to this union, one daughter was born.  Prior to his death, Ray had been employed as a construction worker for the past four years.

Those left to mourn the passing of Ray include: His wife, Mrs. Linda Johnson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Miss Cora Johnson, of the home; his parents, Harley and Erma Johnson, Route 3, Dixon; one brother, William B. Johnson, Route 1, Dixon; three sisters, Mrs. Glenna Bilyeu and Mrs. Julia Anderson, both of Hayden Route, Dixon, and Miss Cynthia Johnson, Route 3, Dixon; his maternal grandparents, Basil and Lola Howser,
