Melvin Lee Boulware 1934-2000

Melvin Boulware, 66, Crocker, died July 27, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics. He was born Feb. 28, 1934, in Crocker, a son of Clyde and Bertha Singleton Boulware. He was a heavy equipment operator, a truck driver and a mechanic. Survivors include: two sons, Marshall Boulware, Utah, and Michael Goff, Crocker; one daughter, Diana Fassbinder, Illinois; three brothers, Wayne Boulware, Bob Boulware and Don Boulware, all of Crocker; three sisters, Mabel Carney, Springfield, Evelyn Hollis, Eldon, and Marie Proctor, Crocker; and eleven grandchildren. One daughter, Caren Boulware, preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Crocker. The Rev. Billy Claiborn will officiate. Burial will be in the Fox Crossing Cemetery, near Dixon. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
