William Thomas Doyel 1921-1981

William Thomas Doyel was born near Dixon, in Maries County, Missouri on August 14, 1921, the son of Henderson and Rosa Wodohodsky Doyel and passed away in the St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo., on Monday evening, May 11, 1981.  He had attained the age of 59 years.

He worked in Kansas City on construction for 17 years, then moving to Brinktown to farm, retiring in 1979.  He was united in marriage to Eula Stokes on November 8, 1945 and unto this union 2 sons and 2 daughters were born.

Bill is survived by his wife Eula of the home in Brinktown, 2 sons, Larry of Robertsville, Mo., and William Lee of Brinktown, 2 daughters, Kathie Kitchens of Natchitoches, Louisiana and Joanna Doyel of Brinktown, 1 sister Marie Bauer of Dixon, 7 grandchildren, with many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 sister Anna Bauer.

He was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Brinktown and the Holy Name Society.

Funeral services were held in the Guardian Angel Church in Brinktown on Thursday morning, May 14, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Albert Dudenhoeffer officiating.  Burial was in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.  All arrangements were under the direction of the Gilbert Funeral Home of Dixon.  Serving as pallbearers were Robbie Baker, Bob Wilson, Roger Smith, William and Ronnie Bauer and Leo Kleffner Jr..
