Benjamin Franklin Dumas 1919-2011

Benjamin Franklin Dumas, 92 of Waynesville, a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant, WWII and Korean Wars veteran, and retired civil service employee, passed away at 4:54 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, at Memorial Chapels and Crematory, Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, at the funeral home.

Mr. Dumas is survived by his children: Scott (JoJean) and Benny (Patti) Dumas of Waynesville and Susan Morris Holloway (Bill) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his siblings: Charles Dumas and Velma Louise King both of Bastrop, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
