Inga W. (Cook) Ozee 1919-2007

Inga W. (Cook) Ozee, daughter of Frederich and Inga (Selbach) Cook, was born in Langerfeld, Germany on March 11, 1919.

Inga immigrated to the United States at the age of four. Inga and her family was one of the families that were detained at Ellis Island in New York near the Statue of Liberty in the early 1920's. She earned her citizenship in 1953.

Inga attended school in Nebraska before moving to Missouri where she attended at a small country school near Orla Mill.

Inga was a caring loving friend. She had a special love for her pets and animals of all kinds.

Inga passed away at 3:20 A.M. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Sunset Village of the Ozarks in St. Robert, MO.

She is survived by two nephews: Robert Cook of Waynesville, MO and Fredrick Koch of Germany, along with many other friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 12, 2007 in the Memorial Chapel of Waynesville/St. Robert with Rev. Danny Graves officiating. Soloist Becky Lercher sang "In The Garden". Serving as escorts were family and friends.

Burial followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Waynesville/St. Robert.
