Colley Hollow Cemetery is located in Pulaski County, MO., between Waynesville and Richland, Missouri, in the Buckhorn area. Take Historic Route 66 to Richard Road, which is gravel. Make a right on Richland Road and at the “T” intersection turn right on Redwing Road. The cemetery is located on private property, gated, and locked.

It is named after Cyrus Colley, a Pulaski County pioneer, and is located in the "hollow" that he and his family settled. During the Civil War several skirmishes were fought at the nearby California House and legend tells of unmarked graves of Confederate soldiers, and possibly, Bush Whackers, buried here. This cemetery also includes unmarked graves of several slaves. Collie Hollow Cemetery includes many graves from the mid 1800’s.

One of the obscure cemeteries in the county. Thanks for the info. I have relatives buried there but did not know the history given above of the Colley name.

  2. My Grandparents Emery and Callie Harris lived in the California House during the late 1930's
We walked down the hollow many times from near Laquey where we lived
